Most of my wildlife photography is an extension of my relationship with the surrounding landscape. I consider the sheep that dot the countryside of Great Britain an intrinsic part of the landscape. Without them, the landscape would be lacking an essential element. The same can be said of the ponies that roam the moors of England and Scotland.
I have continued with wildlife photography in the same way as I traveled to Antarctica. Again, the penguins and seals are a most important aspect of the land and seascapes. I do not separate landscape and wildlife. It is all connected, as we ourselves are connected to the many wonders and beauty of the earth.
