Fine art photography, within the context of my portfolio, is defined by images that can be enjoyed much the same as a painting. I hope to not only decorate the walls of my clients, but to provide a scene of beauty and tranquility that transforms a room into a restful and meditative place.
I use the term “fine art photography” not so much as a commercial slogan, but as a response to countless numbers of clients, who upon seeing the photograph of Wistman’s Wood, have insisted on calling it a painting! Photographing fine art images, in my mind, should enhance the client’s environment, rather than just filling up space on a wall.
